Geographical and racial differences - No bar. You just need to have the passion and knowledge to do something.

Ref: How A Culture Of Innovation On Campus Can Solve The College Graduation Gap

William Kamkwamba, is from a rarely known country called Malawi. The country is a poor african country and so was he. But, in-spite of such barriers, he came out to be an outstanding innovator. He made a wind turbine to power a few electrical appliances using gum trees, bicycle parts, and other scarp materials. Since then, he has made a solar-powered water pump that supplies drinking water to his village and two other wind turbines and is planning two more.

But apart from this story, the surveys conclude that people from the low-income background and black-raced people are less likely to have their graduation done. It is not that these people are less knowledgeable or they don't want to study, but it is the lack of steps taken by the people who have an easy access to education. One such initiative has been taken by a group of universities forming an alliance called the University Innovation Alliance(UIA), which has been working very fine since its formation.

I think this is quite a nice initiative if you help poor and deprived people to get access to knowledge, but it won't work well if you don't go up to the roots. Also, there is more need to join more and more colleges and universities in this programme. There is one more great advantage of including people from various backgrounds, i.e. it makes people exposed to new people and new environment which is obviously great for one's own development.

So, its quite obvious that if more people are included in the main steam of graduation, it will prove to be fruitful to all, adding new innovators. This initiative also has a potential to decrease the college graduation gap which is still prevailing in today's colleges regardless of the country or place they are in. Moreover, it is our duty to think in this area and come up with ideas that can help the deprived people to get the necessary graduation education which they are deprived of.

Change cache in Google Chrome

Many of us want to change Google Chrome's Cache, but there is no option in Google Chrome like Mozilla Firefox to change the cache to a desired value. I am mentioning how to do this:

    • 1.Right-click the Google Chrome shortcut on the Start menu or desktop and select “Properties.”
    • 2.Click the “Shortcut” tab at the top of the “Google Chrome Properties” window.
    • 3.Click the “Target” field, and hit the “End” key to move the cursor to the end of the text.
    • 4.Push the space bar once.
    • 5.Type “–disk-cache-size=xxxxxxxx″ in the field, modifying the number after “size=” so that it represents the space that you would like to devote to the Google Chrome disk cache in bytes. (here change xxxxxxx to the value you want eg. size=1000000)
    • Click “OK.” Close any running instances of Google Chrome, and re-open the browser to begin using the new cache size.
